After being encouraged by numerous friends, I finally threw in the towel and joined Facebook.  This is an interesting vehicle.  It didn’t take me too long to enter the basics, then next thing you know, I’m sitting here for an hour or so editing and adding more data.

Just then, my curiosity got me.  I started looking for people I knew.  Wow, I found two cousins I haven’t seen in over forty years.  Gosh, I surely hope they let me being their friend again.  Just two days later, I heard from one and we have connected once again.  Amazing!

Looks like I’ve made some new friends, too.  Other Keller Williams Realty family members asked me to be their friend.  Gee, I’m being to feel like I’m in Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood.  It’s amazing and I’ve only been online a short time.

Of course, the bragging Grandma had to throw in a few pictures of the most precious grandchildren this earth has ever seen.  You get to see little DJ, who is 3-1/2 and Siena, who is just 15 months.  They are so precious to me that I just had to share.  I’m sure y’all are thrilled with this.

They tell me that Facebook and Twitter, which I just had to join although I’m not too good at tweeting, along with Linkedin, where I have been for over a year, are just vital to life and business.  It seems that everyone is into social media.  In fact, I have spoken to numerous people whose business has grown from this new found media.  I remember back in 1996 when I got my first web page on realtor.com.  Now, you can find me at Keller Williams Realty and www.jocross.com

It’s amazing.  Even this “older” lady can learn new tricks.  Come on in, the waters fine and you’ll never know who you might meet.  You may be surprised when they ask you to assist them with your business specialty.
